This book has been written to help you, the student, review your two-year global history and geography course. Its purposes are to: help you focus on the key facts, themes, and concepts that you need to know to succeed on the Regents Examination in global history and geography; allow you to become familiar with the format of the Regents Examination; provide you with the test-taking skills you will need to apply your social studies knowledge to the Regents Examination. In this book, the ninth- and tenth-grade global history and geography curriculum is presented chronologically. Four overall themes - history; geography; economics; and civics, citizenship, and government - draw these units together.
