George Orwell, critical information about his works, historical views and more modern, this book is a nice addition to my library. But many of the essays are very old, some from the 60's and 70's. In other words, while many of the chapters in this book may be new to you, and it is nice to have them all collected into one book, you may already have read much of the content within the covers. There is a nice For Further Reading section but, once again, you may have many of the books. For a person who wants everything on Orwell's 1984 or a person just starting to explore the novel.
