Includes index
This welding program includes information on welding joint design, joint edge shape and preparation. This program then focuses on the array of welding processes, arranging them into two major categories- fusion welding processes and solid-state welding processes. The fusion welding section begins with an examination of the four common groups of fusion processes: arc welding, resistance welding, laser beam welding, and electron beam welding. The arc welding section features the six most common arc welding processes - shielded metal arc welding, submerged arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux-cored arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and plasma arc welding.
